Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CrownTec ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
When you contact us through the enquiry form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The type of customer you are (e.g. home user or small business)
- Any details you choose to include in your message
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising on this website.
How we use it
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- Deliver any services you ask us to provide
- Keep records of the work we have agreed and carried out
We will never sell your data, and we will not send you marketing unless you have asked us to.
How your enquiry is handled
Our contact form is processed by a third-party form service (Formspree), which forwards your message to our email inbox. Your message is also stored in our email account so we can reply and keep a record. These providers process your data on our behalf and under their own security measures.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer records only for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are securely deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Object to or restrict how we use your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at cosmicforge.labs@outlook.com.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
